A Little About Me

Hey, I’m Alix

I’m a vet tech turned dog trainer, and I know exactly how you feel, because I’ve been there too.

I became interested in behavior after my own dog, Buster, became incredibly reactive to everyone and everything. I know how hard it is to love your dog and want to do right by them while also being scared to take them anywhere and not being able to trust them.

I love helping people and their dogs connect on a deeper level, and I’d love to help you and your dog connect better.

Frequently asked questions

I do. I love helping those dogs with big feelings learn how to feel safe and confident in their environment.

I want you and your dog to succeed just as much as you do. If you’re perused the website and still aren’t sure if I’m a good fit, feel free to schedule a complimentary, 15 minutes discovery call. We can have a discussion so you can make an informed decision.

I use positive reinforcement based methods and focus on building trust to create a strong, long-lasting bond with your dog.

While I don’t utilize punishment based tools like ecollars or prongs, if you currently utilize these tools and want to explore more positive methods and just aren’t sure where to get support, let me help you! We all have to start somewhere.

Virtual training is just as effective, if not more so, than in-person training. Virtual training is actually ideal for many cases, especially for dogs with big feelings. Without any distractions or scary new people invading their space, your dog can often focus better, which makes the training experience smoother.

Are you ready to have a better relationship and easier life with your dog?
