OUR POLICIES
REGISTRATION
As the coaching-client relationship needs to be a good fit for both parties, and since I can only take so many clients per month, all clients interested in training services with me must fill out an intake form. Once I receive and review it, if we’re a good fit, I will send you a link for direct appointment scheduling and payment to get your appointment set up in the books.
payment
Prior to registering for a consultation and program, all intake forms must be completed, including a detailed history of your dog as well as your contact information. All payment must be made in full upon registration.
re-scheduling
Re-scheduling must be made via email or text with at least 24 hours notice. If the same appointment is rescheduled more than two times, that session will be considered a ‘miss’ and will not be refunded.
cancellation for virtual services
All cancellations must be made via email or text with at least 24 hours notice. Any cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is subject to a $20 cancellation fee.
your dog’s health
As we offer virtual services, there is little concern if your dog is under the weather. However, as part of my Wellness Wheel framework, it is of the utmost importance that your dog is feeling good and healthy to partake in training. If your dog is sick, please notify me via email or text.
client’s rights
As the client, you have the right to refuse any part of the consultation or program that you feel are inappropriate. If you feel something is inappropriate, it is recommended that you speak to me immediately, so I can adjust your plan so that you are comfortable. You always have the right, and I encourage you, to ask further questions to ensure you fully understand all aspects of the training program and plan prior to consenting.
Should you as the client go against any of my policies, I reserve the right to discontinue coaching.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
My preferred method of communication is email, but I am also available via text. I strive to respond within 24 hours, but if it is not an emergency, please allow me up to 48 hours. If you haven’t gotten a response by then, please email me a follow up.
equipment
Unacceptable equipment that I do not allow:
- prong or pinch collar
- choke chain collar
- chain martingale collar
- e-collar or shock collar
Acceptable equipment that we will utilize instead:
- harness
- standard 6 foot leash and long line
- flat collar
- safety connection strap from harness to collar
- basket muzzle
- head halter, if necessary
